Nina Prague Guide

Sightseeing transfer from Krakow to Prague via Olomouc / Kromeriz

At 9am, or at any time you wish, my driver and I will pick you up at your hotel and take you from Krakow to Prague. On the way we will stop in Olomouc (UNESCO site) or Kromeriz (UNESCO site) for a short visit.

According to legend, Olomouc, one of the Moravia's oldest towns was established by Julius Caesar. In fact it did not come into existence until the 7th century. In 1063 it was made a bishopric and in 1187 the capital of Moravia. We will see the major sites like the huge Holy Trinity Column, which is on the UNESCO List, the many famous fountains on the squares, the Town Hall with the Astronomical clock, the St. Wenceslas' Cathedral and much more.

Kromeriz is a sleepy historical town, one of the prettiest in Moravia. The main attraction is the magnificent palace of the archbishop. The vast Baroque palace has some splendidly furnished rooms. Absolutely great is the art collection of the Lichtenstein family (Titian, Cranach, Veronese, etc.). On the UNESCO List is not only the Archbishop's palace, but the lovely extensive gardens as well.
