Karlstejn Castle – the most famous Czech castle

We will visit one of the most frequently visited historic sites in the Czech Republic. The castle was built in the 14th century. At that time our Czech Kingdom was a part of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation and our king Charles IV was a Czech king and a Holy Roman Emperor as well. The castle was built to hold the treasure of the Holy Roman Empire. On the way back we will visit few other interesting places in Central Bohemia.
