Half-day tour of Hradcany and the New Town with the car support

Our driver will take us to the Strahov Library. We can visit the library and then see the scenic view from the Strahov hill. Our driver will then take us to the Prague Castle. The castle is a pedestrian zone, so we will walk through the castle courtyards and visit the St. Vitus Cathedral. If you would like we can visit the Old Royal Palace, passing through the Vladislav hall, the St. George's Basilica, the Golden Lane and much more. If you would like we can walk through the gardens under the castle to the Little Quarter. Under the castle hill the driver will wait for us and take us for a tour of the New Town of Prague and we will see the Jubilee synagogue, the State Opera building, the Wenceslas Square with the old and new statue of St. Wenceslas, the Charles Square with the New Town Town Hall and the Dancing House – a symbol of modern architecture in Prague. We can discuss the Velvet Revolution which took place at the Narodni Street and at the Wenceslas Square in 1989. At Ujezd we will see a monument to the victims of Communism.

The best option is to combine this tour with a half-day walking tour of the downtown of Prague (the Old Town and the Little Quarter) and a Jewish Quarter tour. Then you have a 3-day package tour in Prague. Or if you add the half-day tour of Vysehrad, Orechovka, and Petrin, you can have a 4-day package tour in Prague.
